ON THE SET OF INSPECTOR MONTALBANO

In the coming months, between unspoiled beaches, breathtaking glimpses of characteristic narrow streets, Baroque churches and the scents of an undiscovered Sicily, the new series of the famous “Inspector Montalbano” will be filmed.
Strolling around the towns of Ragusa, Scicli, Modica, Comiso, Vittoria, Ispica and Santa Croce, you will have the chance to watch the film crew while filming the new episodes of the famous television series.
The places of the Montalbano TV series, in the south of Sicily, are made up of historical palaces, Baroque churches, white villages and ancient temples. But it is also the Sicily of wide landscapes, wild nature and of long sandy beaches, as the one of “Punta Secca” where the house of the most famous Italian Inspector is located, destination of many tourist.
The real life places of the famous TV series are also tasting places: DOCG wines of “Vittoria” and “Donnafugata”, the dairy products of Ragusa, the fine chocolate of Modica and the tomatoes of Pachino are some of the specialty that make this places unique also for a wine and gastronomy experience.
